Art Ducko: A University of Oregon magazine about everything comics. While on staff I conducted and edited interviews with comics experts, created comics and illustrations, as well as wrote reviews, articles, and poems. On top of those duties I was also Editor-in-Chief from 2020-2021, and the Director of Copy-editing from 2018-2020. Participating in this publication strengthened skills I learned as a student journalism at The Mainstream while attending Umpqua Community College. Transferring schools can be challenging, but less so when you have a great group of friends and fellow comics enthusiasts.
