As the Marketing Manager of the Eugene Saturday Market, I am responsible for creating graphics, taking photos, website/social media management as well as general administrative duties and event planning. The Saturday Market started in 1970 making it the U.S.A.'s oldest weekly re-occurring open-air crafts marketplace. Here, I have spread the word about the Market by making (and hanging) posters, appearing on the news and working one-on-one with artisans as a consultant and project manager. Everything from writing radio and print ads, to writing (and sending) press releases in addition to designing our signs/banners. I have enjoyed developing a wide variety of skills in marketing and forming meaningful relationships with other community-based organizations here in Eugene. This will be my third year working at Market, I began as their Marketing Assistant in 2022 and was promoted to Marketing Manager in 2023.
