As the Marketing Manager of the Eugene Saturday Market, I am responsible for creating graphics, taking photos, managing social media as well as general administrative duties and event planning. The Eugene Saturday Market started in 1970 making it the U.S.A.'s oldest weekly re-occurring open-air crafts marketplace. Here, I have spread the word about the Market by making (and hanging) posters, appearing on the news, as well as working one-on-one with artisans as a consultant and project manager. Everything from writing radio ads, to writing and sending press releases in addition to designing our print ads, I have enjoyed developing a wide variety of skills in marketing and community-based organizations. This will be my third year working at Market.
